What You'll Do
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Assist the supervising SLP with student screenings and assessments (without clinical interpretation).
- Follow and implement documented therapy plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Document student performance and progress toward goals, reporting back to the supervising SLP.
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with clerical duties related to the speech program.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders OR an Associate's Degree from an accredited SLPA program.
- Active Washington SLPA credential/license (issued by the WA Department of Health) is required (or eligibility to obtain).
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the supervising SLP and school staff.
