Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to follow therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Excellent organization and time-management skills, especially in an itinerant role
- Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and families
- Reliable transportation to travel among assigned school locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students under the guidance of a licensed SLP
- Support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure progress documentation
- Assist in developing communication strategies for classroom and one-on-one interactions
- Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and session notes
- Travel between three different school sites to provide consistent support
