Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Valid SLPA license or credential as required by state regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to travel between three school sites as part of an itinerant schedule
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, though recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling efficiently
- Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized and group treatment plans for students, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other support staff to foster students’ success in the classroom
- Assist with screening, assessment, and documentation duties as directed
- Maintain accurate and timely records for each student served
- Engage positively with students while fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
