Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (Associate’s) or a Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLPA license
- Experience in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to excel as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for students
- Conduct therapy sessions with students under supervision and document progress regularly
- Support assessments of students’ communication skills and help monitor their development
- Participate in team meetings, contributing effectively to student care plans
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and educational staff
