This contract position spans the 2026-27 academic year, with a start date of August 5, 2026, and an end date of June 1, 2027. You’ll collaborate closely with educational teams as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, working on-site across White City Elementary (K-5) and St. Lucie West K-8, with a combined caseload featuring students with EBD (Emotional/Behavioral Disorders) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

Qualifications & Experience
- Current, active Florida DOH SLPA license
- Previous experience as an SLPA in a school setting
- Comfort working with children ages 5-14, especially those with EBD and ASD
- Bilingual communication skills are a strong plus
- Ability to complete required background checks and fingerprinting (some flexibility available for existing DOH prints)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech-language support under the supervision of a licensed SLP across both assigned elementary and K-8 schools
- Adapt service delivery to meet the diverse needs of caseload, including students with exceptionalities
- Collect data and document sessions in accordance with school and state requirements
- Coordinate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and support implementation of student goals
