School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Corning, California

This full-time position offers a 35-hour workweek, aligning with student hours from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. What we’re seeking:
- Valid SLPA licensure
- Experience or interest working with school-aged children, including students with extensive and regional deaf/hard of hearing needs
- Ability to work independently while collaborating virtually with supervising SLP
- Adaptability to fluctuating schedules and itinerant assignments
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Dedication to providing compassionate and effective assistance to students of varying backgrounds
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing individualized treatment plans under the direction of a licensed SLP
- Supporting students in classroom and small group settings across multiple sites
- Helping students develop communication, language, and social skills
- Assisting with progress monitoring and data collection
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
