Pay is based on experience, credentials, and assignment details.

Position Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Provide direct services to students in individual and group settings
Assist students with fine motor, sensory, self-help, and classroom participation skills
Document student progress and treatment activities
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
Support IEP goals and educational outcomes
Maintain compliance with district and state requirements
California COTA Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess:
Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant License
Current certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Ability to meet all district and state background clearance requirements
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous school-based experience
Experience supporting pediatric populations
Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services
Knowledge of sensory integration and fine motor interventions
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
