Join a student-focused team where your expertise directly impacts communication, academic success, and lifelong outcomes. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services within a supportive school environment in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Compensation

$40-$50+ per hour based on experience, credentials, assignment details, and specialized skill sets.

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation

  • Support students with speech, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs

California SLP Requirements

Qualified candidates must meet California licensing requirements, including:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License OR eligibility for licensure

  • Completion of supervised clinical practicum requirements

  • Successful completion of the Praxis Speech-Language Pathology Examination

  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required school clearances and background checks

California licensure generally requires a master's degree, supervised clinical experience, fingerprint clearance, and qualifying examination scores through the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Board.

School-based candidates may also qualify through California's Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential pathway for public school settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

  • School-based experience

  • Experience with AAC, autism spectrum disorders, and IEP development

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
