Compensation
$40-$50+ per hour based on experience, credentials, assignment details, and specialized skill sets.

Position Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct and indirect therapy services
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Support students with speech, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs
California SLP Requirements
Qualified candidates must meet California licensing requirements, including:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License OR eligibility for licensure
Completion of supervised clinical practicum requirements
Successful completion of the Praxis Speech-Language Pathology Examination
Ability to obtain and maintain all required school clearances and background checks
California licensure generally requires a master's degree, supervised clinical experience, fingerprint clearance, and qualifying examination scores through the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Board.
School-based candidates may also qualify through California's Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential pathway for public school settings.
Preferred Qualifications
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
School-based experience
Experience with AAC, autism spectrum disorders, and IEP development
Strong communication and collaboration skills
