Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure or credential as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
- At least one full school year of previous SLPA experience, ideally within a K-6 educational environment.
- Understanding of best practices for mild to moderate cases in school-age populations.
- Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct intervention and support under the direction of supervising SLPs.
- Assist with assessments, documentation, and development of progress reports.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families, ensuring culturally competent and sensitive support.
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload.
- Maintain detailed records in line with educational standards and compliance requirements.
