School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Upper Lake, California

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- SLPA licensure or eligibility required
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfort and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population, including those with special needs
- Openness to travel and adaptability to new school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language intervention to students individually or in small groups under SLP supervision
- Support IEP implementation and documentation
- Assist with assessments and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and families to support students’ educational and therapeutic needs
- Maintain accurate service records and data collection
- Create a positive, encouraging environment to foster student growth
