Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license/certification or SLP licensure
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, especially those with special needs
- Ability to adapt communication strategies for varying age groups
- Comfortable working in-person within a collaborative school environment
- Demonstrated organizational skills and reliability
- Open to travel assignments within the area
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across 1st–12th grades in special day classes
- Collaborate with teachers, educational teams, and families to support student progress
- Implement individualized therapy plans as directed by supervising SLP (for SLPA roles)
- Track and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with all documentation requirements
- Participate in team meetings and IEP processes
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and communication
