School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - El Cajon, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license/certification in California
- Previous experience supporting SLPs in school or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric populations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with children, educators, and families
- Ability to follow treatment plans as directed by supervising SLP
- Organizational skills for documentation and caseload management
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist supervising SLP in implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with school staff
- Support data collection for progress monitoring and assessment
