Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid SLPA or SLP state licensure/certification
- Previous experience or educational background working with school-aged children (1st-12th grade), especially in special education or special day class settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and student needs
- Must be comfortable working in person with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services directly to students in special day classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Track and document student progress and maintain session notes in compliance with district and professional standards
- Participate in team meetings, contribute insights, and support students’ academic and communication development
- Implement therapeutic interventions and strategies as directed by supervising SLP (for SLPA roles)
