Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Ukiah, CA

Responsibilities include collaborating closely with teachers and multidisciplinary team members to deliver targeted speech-language interventions in-person. You will facilitate individual and group sessions, assist in progress documentation, contribute to developing student IEPs, and maintain consistent communication with parents and staff to ensure comprehensive support.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification, or SLP credentials
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in special education settings
- Familiarity with speech, language, and communication disorders common in elementary through high school populations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork, organization, and adaptability in a school environment
- Willingness to travel or relocate for contract assignments
What you’ll do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to 1st–12th grade students, in-person, in special day class environments
- Implement individualized therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Monitor, document, and report student progress
- Support IEP goals through collaboration with school staff and families
