What we’re looking for:
- Valid SLPA license (or SLP) with current state credentials
- Previous experience in schools highly preferred, especially with diverse student populations
- Ability to work with students in grades 1 through 12, focusing on special needs and individualized support plans
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Open to travel and in-person assignments
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time as needed
Your contributions will include:
- Assisting students within special day classrooms to enhance speech, language, and communication abilities
- Supporting the lead SLP in delivering therapy and carrying out planned interventions
- Documenting progress and maintaining detailed records to ensure the best outcomes for each student
- Collaborating closely with general and special education staff, as well as families
- Participating in meetings, professional development, and training to continually build your skills
