Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure or credential as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- School-based experience preferred, especially with special day classrooms or special needs students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, teachers, and other educational professionals
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills with students from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to delivering in-person support and treatment—remote options are not available
Key Responsibilities:
- Support 1st-12th grade students within specialized classroom environments under the guidance of supervising SLPs
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services per students' IEPs
- Collect data and document student progress toward communication goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute meaningful input for IEP development
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere to help students reach their full potential
