Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Plainfield, Illinois

Ideal candidates may hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), be in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), or be experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). Experience delivering speech services in schools or healthcare settings is highly valued.
Qualifications & Experience Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of SLPA program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentialing
- Strong background in pediatric assessment and therapy techniques
- Knowledge of teletherapy platforms for remote intervention
- Previous experience working with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Deliver targeted individual and group therapy sessions
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development activities
