Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with school experience are also encouraged to apply. What we're looking for:

  • Active state licensure as an SLP or SLPA (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in progress (CFY considered)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
  • Conducting speech and language assessments and writing corresponding reports
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing recommendations and support to teachers, parents, and caregivers
  • Engaging in teletherapy services when appropriate
  • Keeping accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
