You’ll be working with a manageable caseload of 25-30 students, providing therapies and interventions tailored to help each student achieve their communication goals. The structured school schedule runs from 8:25 am to 4:00 pm, totaling 35.5 hours each week. The assignment begins August 17, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, offering the stability of a full academic year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in elementary school settings is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic approach to collaboration
- Ability to adapt therapy and communication strategies to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-5th grade students in a resource capacity
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in staff training sessions (date to be determined)
