Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by ASHA
- State licensure for speech-language pathology (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably within resource settings
- Strong communication skills and adaptability within educational teams
- Ability to maintain accurate records and implement IEPs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across grades K-5, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to maximize student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Offer resource-level support, providing interventions tailored to each student’s unique goals
Role Details:
- Full-time schedule: 35.5 hours per week, 8:25 am – 4:00 pm
- Contract begins 8/17/26 and concludes 5/28/27
- Caseload consists of approximately 25-30 students
- Participation in New Staff Training (details to be announced)
