Speech Language Pathologist in Waukegan, IL

Enjoy a predictable schedule of 35.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday (8:25 am–4:00 pm), allowing a healthy work-life balance. The position begins August 17, 2026 and extends through May 28, 2027, with new staff training details to be announced.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed as an SLP in Illinois, or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Ability to work productively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech-language therapy to K-5 students in a resource setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school policies
