Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Joliet, Illinois

Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with school experience are also encouraged to apply. What we're looking for:
- Active state licensure as an SLP or SLPA (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in progress (CFY considered)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Conducting speech and language assessments and writing corresponding reports
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing recommendations and support to teachers, parents, and caregivers
- Engaging in teletherapy services when appropriate
- Keeping accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
