Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (SLPs), or completion of an accredited SLPA program (SLPAs)
- Current state licensure (or eligible) for practicing Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFYs encouraged to apply
- Experience or training in school-based or pediatric speech therapy strongly desired
- Confident in the use of teletherapy platforms
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy for students with a variety of communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Maintain thorough clinical documentation in accordance with school and professional guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and parent communications
- Deliver services both in-person and via teletherapy, as needed
- Consult with teachers and staff, offering strategies to support language development in the classroom
