Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- State licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting or with early intervention services is highly desirable
- Comfortable conducting evaluations for ages birth to 2 years
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for students aged birth through 5 within an ESY program
- Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans, especially for the birth to 2 age group
- Work closely with teachers and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state standards
- Adapt therapy techniques to support diverse communication needs
