Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Must hold valid SLPA credentials
- Recent school-based experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable and capable working onsite in a school setting
- Experience with students in TK-8th grade is ideal
- Collaborative mindset, ready to partner with teachers, SLPs, and staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in delivering speech and language interventions to students
- Support assessment, data collection, and documentation of student progress
- Provide direct services according to students’ IEPs under supervision
- Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to support individual student needs
- Engage with families and educators to reinforce strategies in the classroom
- Participate actively in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
