This travel SLPA position is onsite for the 2026/2027 school year, from August 11th, 2026 to June 4th, 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch). Qualifications:
- Valid license or ability to obtain license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in California
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Enthusiasm for working with children and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and implement speech-language therapy plans as directed by supervising SLPs
- Work with K-12 students in group and individual settings
- Assist in the documentation of student progress and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain open communication with staff and caregivers
