With a duration of 160-170 days, you'll have ample time to build connections with students and colleagues, contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams, and celebrate milestones in communication development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with school-aged assessments and therapy, especially within elementary populations
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in grades TK-5
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write comprehensive reports to support eligibility and service decisions
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in partnership with educators and families
- Maintain organized records, progress reports, and compliance with all district and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, and administration for optimal student outcomes
