Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver evidence-based therapy.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to elementary aged students.
- Conduct evaluations for speech, language, fluency, and voice as needed.
- Develop, implement, and document progress on individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and school administration to foster student success.
- Maintain timely, accurate records in line with state and federal regulations.
- Engage families and empower them to support continued progress at home.
