Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- California SLP license (or eligibility) required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CF candidates considered
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and parent communication
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to various student needs and collaborate across disciplines
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students (TK-5)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
- Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers as needed
