Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, report writing, and IEP development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Providing direct intervention and consultation to support student participation and success in the classroom
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating regularly with school staff and families
- Offering recommendations for classroom strategies and accommodations
