Compensation for this assignment falls within the $60–$70 per hour range, reflecting both your expertise and the vital service you’ll provide to the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid CA Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain before start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
- Prior experience serving school-aged children, ideally in an educational setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort creating IEPs, implementing therapy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in grades TK-5
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage student caseloads in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and learning
- Maintain all required records and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member
