Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY)

Position Details
- Position: Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY)
- Location: Yorktown, VA
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Contract: Full school year
- Student Population: Elementary school students
- School Sites: 1–2 locations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to begin a Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Virginia Department of Education licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping school-aged children achieve their communication goals
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide direct therapy services for elementary students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide evidence-based recommendations to support student success.
