Desired Qualifications:
- Hold current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligible)
- Experience or strong interest working in pediatric and school-based settings
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans
- Familiarity with early childhood development through adolescent communication needs
- Comfortable delivering services across Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by staff or families
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students varying in age and ability
- Maintain accurate records and document progress towards student goals
- Offer guidance, support, and resources to educators and families regarding communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Adapt therapy approaches as needed based on student needs and feedback
