This travel opportunity offers an engaging role delivering speech-language pathology services within an elementary school setting in Yorkshire, NY. Starting July 1st and concluding June 25th, this position requires a 35-hour workweek providing evaluations and therapeutic services to a caseload typically ranging from 25 to 40 students. The student population presents a variety of mild to severe disabilities, offering a stimulating and diverse professional experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Credentialed Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Certification of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Experience working in school settings, specifically elementary education
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills for various speech and language disorders
  • Ability to manage a caseload professionally and effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Travel willingness and adaptability to support the assigned school location

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
