Elementary School Speech and Language Pathologist | Arcade, New York
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support to elementary school students in Arcade, NY. This full-time contract position runs from July 1st through June 25th, with a schedule of 35 hours per week at the elementary school level. The role involves working closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 25 to 40 students, varying in disability severity from mild to severe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ speech and language needs
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services tailored to student requirements
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) required
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings with elementary-aged children
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and demonstrate strong communication skills
