An onsite speech-language pathologist is needed for a rewarding contract assignment serving students across the building for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time opportunity, with scheduled work from August 17, 2026 through May 28, 2027 (35 hours per week).
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license and teaching certification required at time of application
- Experience providing speech and language services to K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students and collaborate with faculty
- Proficient in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring in school settings
- Ability to work effectively with diverse caseloads and adapt therapy to individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and support services to students across all grade levels in an onsite, building-wide capacity
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnosis of communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote student achievement
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development as needed
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere for all students
