Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners in the York, PA area. This contract role provides essential speech and language support to preschool-age students (ages 3-5) with special education needs. You'll be working within a supportive program, serving children in the New Oxford and Gettysburg areas in an itinerant capacity. This is an on-site position following a 188-day preschool calendar, with hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (35 hours per week, not to exceed).
What you'll bring to the role:
- Current Pennsylvania SLP License (must be provided with application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; will consider Clinical Fellows if supervision stipend arrangements are met
- Previous experience working with preschool children or providing school-based SLP services is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize a caseload across multiple sites and adapt interventions for a range of developmental needs
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to preschoolers with special education requirements in various locations within Adams County
- Conduct both evaluation and intervention in alignment with IEP goals, ensuring compliance and quality service
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, with dedicated weekly time provided for paperwork
- Utilize provided tools—laptop, iPad, LessonPix subscription, testing kits, and materials—to enhance service delivery
