Supervision for Clinical Fellows is readily provided, and consistent yearly renewals mean you can build meaningful connections. There are also typically opportunities to extend into ESY (extended school year) services for broader experience.
What you’ll bring:
- Active PA SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY with school supervision
- School-based experience preferred, but open to new graduates
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work with elementary or more involved student populations
- Interest or expertise with assessments and evaluations
- Passion for helping students reach their communication goals
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy and/or evaluation services to K-12 students
- Developing individualized goals and treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Documenting services, maintaining accurate records, and participating in IEP meetings
