This contract role spans from June 22 to July 16, 2026, with 10 hours of paid prep time on June 17 and 18. Enjoy a workweek of 18 hours (4.5 hours per day, Monday through Thursday), allowing for a balanced summer schedule.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State licensure as required for school-based SLPs
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings
- Familiarity with low incidence caseloads, ideally PreK through grade 4
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for working alongside educators and families
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and small group therapy sessions to students with a range of communication challenges
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with team members to support student outcomes
- Utilize 10 hours of preparatory time prior to the program start to prepare lessons, materials, and schedules
