Step into an enriching, short-term contract opportunity serving young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist for an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role is perfect for an SLP who is enthusiastic about supporting students from PreK through 4th grade, with a focus on low incidence caseloads. Enjoy working in a collaborative school environment that values expertise and compassion, all within a balanced weekday schedule.
The assignment begins June 22, 2026, and concludes July 16, 2026, offering 4.5 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, totaling 18 hours per week. You’ll also benefit from 10 dedicated hours for preparation on June 17th and 18th to set your students up for success.
Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Prior experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads highly valued
- Familiarity with supporting low incidence populations is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students in PreK-4th grade
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
