Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- California state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, especially with elementary and/or preschool populations
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills are essential
- Passion for nurturing student growth and engaging creatively with diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver screening, assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with varied communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and small group settings
- Communicate student progress and recommendations effectively to parents, teachers, and other school professionals
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that empowers students to succeed and develop self-confidence in their communication abilities
