Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or CFY level)
- Strong understanding of best practices in school-based speech therapy
- Experience with elementary and preschool caseloads preferred
- Ability to design innovative and effective therapy programs for diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Interest in supporting a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Openness to candidates pursuing their Clinical Fellowship (CF); unfortunately, SLPA roles are not available at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with all local and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and ongoing professional development
- Contribute positively to a supportive school culture and team environment
