This full-time contract role is based near vibrant Palo Alto, CA, working on-site with elementary and preschool students. Dedicated to providing comprehensive services to a diverse caseload, you will be instrumental in helping students develop crucial speech and language skills for lifelong learning and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligibility for SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Experience with school-aged children, especially at the preschool and elementary level, preferred
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering hands-on, in-person support (position is on-site only)
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments and providing therapy for students with communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals
- Monitoring and documenting students’ progress toward therapy objectives
- Providing guidance and education to parents and staff on communication strategies
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal educational requirements
