School Speech Language Pathologist - Dover, PA

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) working hands-on within the preschool program in Adams County. This onsite, itinerant role involves supporting students ages 3-5 with special education needs across the New Oxford and Gettysburg areas—no virtual or teletherapy will be considered currently. You'll work within a supportive structure that values your expertise and provides dedicated paperwork time weekly.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pennsylvania SLP license (must submit proof with resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CF candidates considered with supervision arrangements
- Previous experience or strong interest in early childhood special education
- Adaptability for travel between program sites and managing an itinerant schedule
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to preschool students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement IEPs and individualized therapy plans
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Utilize provided resources—including a laptop, iPad, subscription to LessonPix, instructional materials, and testing kits—to enhance therapy effectiveness
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and consistently uphold best practices in speech-language pathology
