Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - New Oxford, PA
Make a meaningful impact on young learners by supporting preschool students with special education needs across the New Oxford/Gettysburg area. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated speech-language pathologist (SLP) holding CCC credentials, although strong CF candidates will be considered—supervision arrangements can be discussed. You’ll deliver vital services within a collaborative, supportive educational environment focused on children ages 3 to 5.
Enjoy a structured school-year schedule with 188 days of work, following the preschool stretch calendar. Minimal travel within the area is involved, and you’ll be supported with time set aside weekly for paperwork. Work is entirely on-site—virtual roles are not available at this time.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current PA SLP license (must be provided with your application)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFs welcome if supervision requirements can be met
- Previous experience with preschool-aged and/or special education preferred
- Ability to travel to multiple sites in Adams County as needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services for students ages 3-5 in school-based, itinerant settings
- Participate as part of a collaborative special education team
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver therapy
- Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork during designated time
- Employ provided materials, testing kits, and digital resources for lesson planning and data collection
