Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to serving preschool children ages 3 to 5 years with special needs. In this on-site role, you’ll partner with schools in the New Oxford and Gettysburg communities, providing impactful speech therapy services that lay the foundation for lifelong communication skills. Work as an itinerant therapist across Adams County in a dynamic setting, with a structured 188-day schedule aligned to the preschool academic calendar.
This position provides an ideal environment for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows. If you’re a CF, you are welcome to apply if your agency can accommodate supervision requirements. Key Qualifications:
- PA Speech-Language Pathology license (must be submitted with resume)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow candidates considered
- Previous school or pediatrics experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for working with preschoolers and supporting special education
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to preschool students as part of an itinerant team
- Serve children with a range of special education needs in classroom and individualized settings
- Engage in assessments, progress monitoring, and collaborative IEP planning
- Travel within assigned schools in the New Oxford/Gettysburg area
- Maintain documentation with dedicated paperwork time
