Make a meaningful impact on young learners as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working with preschool students in Adams County. This contract role centers on supporting children ages 3 to 5 with special education needs, providing itinerant services across the New Oxford and Gettysburg areas. As part of the team, you’ll enjoy a structured 188-day preschool calendar and ample support, including dedicated paperwork time each week, so you can focus on what you do best.
Your typical day runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 35-hour work week. This is an in-person opportunity—remote work is not available for this program.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current Pennsylvania SLP license (must be submitted with your resume)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates considered if supervision funding is provided
- Experience or strong interest in supporting preschool-aged children with special education needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Prior school-based or early intervention SLP experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to preschool students in a variety of school settings
- Travel between sites within the designated area each week
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, with scheduled paperwork time built into your week
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ needs
