This school-based contract opportunity runs from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours weekly. Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
- Active PA Teaching Certification, included with your resume
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
- Adaptability to work across multiple schools and with students of varying needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students onsite (no virtual option)
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with district and state requirements
- Travel as needed between schools within the district
