What you bring to the table:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Strong background working with pediatric or school-aged populations, ideally in educational environments
- Comprehensive knowledge of assessment, intervention, and consultation practices for students with diverse speech/language needs
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
Your contributions will include:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy to assigned students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Completing thorough assessments and maintaining organized records
- Providing consultative support for referrals, collaborating with teaching staff and parents to foster student success
- Adhering to ethical standards and school policies, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Keeping accurate progress notes, reports, and timely documentation
