Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Rhode Island Speech License required
- Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPA applicants with school-based experience
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for ASD populations preferred
- Willingness to complete on-site safety care training, provided prior to start
- Commitment to collaborative, team-based approaches in educational settings
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students on your caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Accurately assess, document, and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain compliance with all district and state protocols
