Qualifications:

  • Active Rhode Island Speech License required
  • CCC, CFY, or SLPA credentials accepted
  • Prior experience with ASD populations strongly preferred
  • Completion of on-site safety care training (mandatory)
  • Enthusiasm for working with school-aged children and young adults

Responsibilities:

  • Serve a caseload of 18-22 students, adjusting based on service frequency
  • Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote communication success
  • Participate in ESY (Extended School Year) with pathway to a multi-year role
  • Provide documentation, student assessments, and progress monitoring
