Requirements for success in this role include:
- Active Rhode Island Speech License
- Experience and/or certification as an SLP with CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA in school-based settings
- Comfort working with ASD populations
- Willingness to complete mandatory on-site safety care training
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students ages 5-22
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all services provided
- Contribute to team meetings and serve as a resource for communication needs
- Effectively support students with a variety of communication disorders, primarily ASD
In this position, you’ll work five days a week, 37.5 hours weekly, and earn between $52-$58 per hour while receiving weekly pay.
