Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Woonsocket, RI

This contract opportunity offers a rewarding experience supporting a highly specialized caseload of PK-5 students, including those with Autism, medically complex needs, and individuals using AAC devices. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, empowering students to achieve their full potential during the 2026-2027 school year (start as early as 9/8/2026).
Qualifications & Skills
- Current and active RI Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification as SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
- Experience or interest in pediatrics and school-based services
- Familiarity with AAC devices highly preferred
- Compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse communication needs
- Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students in PK-5
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop targeted treatment plans for students requiring varying levels of support
- Integrate AAC strategies and technologies to enhance student communication
- Maintain accurate session notes, progress documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student success
- Adapt techniques to meet the evolving needs of students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, working 35 hours per week. You’ll benefit from highly competitive compensation at $50 per hour, along with weekly pay.
